◎简　　介　

　　故事发生在2027年，地球的资源已经消耗殆尽，4个由军人领导的政府——国会、包豪斯、三岛和帝国——瓜分着世界的统治权，发动着连绵不断的战争。

　　从突变怪物的袭击下死里逃生的亨特，遇见了“兄弟会”的头领萨缪尔，后者拥有一本古代书籍《编年史》。书中预言到突变生物的出现，以及将有一群人“传递者”将最终毁灭它们。亨特加入了萨缪尔的队伍，一行人冒险潜入黑暗世界的中心拯救世界。他们不但要对抗大批的歹徒，同时还要面对不死的突变怪物的袭击……
